Industrial basements — 15 avenue des Lots Communaux, Gennevilliers
Podziemie grew out of a meeting between three artists in a former Orange telecom building in Gennevilliers, turned into studios by the Soukmachine association. In the labyrinth of its basements remains an old machine room, emptied of its industrial function.
Not an exhibition but a series of gestures and intentions resonating with this specific site: a work of interpreting and reading the place, founded on the choice to gather underground, in a confined space removed from the usual logics of visibility and circulation. A collective, non-hierarchical impulse, built through disorder, listening and co-presence.

ΠΡΑΞΕΔ
Experimental music · performance · video · 15 minThe place is not a backdrop but a resonating body, an active volume whose acoustics become a playing parameter.
A deliberately reduced set-up: a guitar, an amplifier, a set of effects pedals, a tape recorder. Few tools, but constant attention to the sound phenomena they produce when they meet the underground architecture.
The basement's singular acoustics act as a permanent filter. Echo, reverberation and delayed returns produce a continuous instability. The place replays what it is given, but never identically. The sound becomes autonomous, sometimes unsettling, saturated, close to drone.
The performance puts listening under tension. It shifts perception and forces attention to what happens underneath: beneath the melody, beneath the source, beneath the intention. Sound becomes an environment rather than an event.

Visual art, story and memory. As a child he cut the embroidered flowers out of the new curtains to stick them elsewhere: collecting, sampling, cutting up reality to offer an augmented version of it.
Painting, stretcher, hanging. “It is no longer about showing, but setting down. No longer about exhibiting, but making things stay.”
